Which format should I pick?

Are my images uploaded to a server?
No. Conversion runs inside your browser on your own device using the built-in canvas. Your images are never sent over the internet or stored anywhere, and it works even offline once the page has loaded.
How do I convert PNG to JPG?
Add your PNG files, choose JPG as the output format, and click Convert. Because JPG has no transparency, any transparent areas are filled with white. Then download each file or all of them as a zip.
What is WebP and should I use it?
WebP is a modern format that is typically 25–35% smaller than JPG or PNG at the same quality and supports transparency. Use it for websites to speed up loading. Convert WebP back to JPG or PNG here if an older app cannot open it.
Does converting lose quality?
Converting to PNG is lossless. Converting to JPG or WebP is lossy but the quality is set high (90%), so the difference is usually invisible. Converting a JPG to PNG will not restore detail already lost, it just changes the container.
